  • Video mappings, digital scenography and soundtrack immerse us in daily life in 17th- and 18th-century Holland
  • From hushed genre scenes to popular banquets, you feel like you're part of the picture.
  • We walk the streets and canals of Delft, the seascapes, and almost wish we could smell the flowers in the still lifes...
  • This exhibition is a celebration of Dutch art from Vermeer to Rembrandt, from Bloemaert to Jan Steen, right up to the bright and luminous paintings by Van Gogh
  • Projected on the floor and walls of the Atelier, up to 10 metres highvideos highlight the details of brushstrokes, strokes and the interplay of materials

Painting nature differently

  • Part two, les Bassins des lumières offers a short program with "Mondrian, the architect of color
  • Mondrian painted nature in a different way. It's a vibrant new experience when penetrating in abstraction and color of the 20th century.

The Basins of Light

Open in 2020 in part of the city's submarine base. of the world's largest digital art center. The site is composed of 4 ponds in waterIt is equipped with projectors and speakers allowing the projection of images and sound and light. It is located in a former German submarine base of the Second World War. Inside the cells of the base, artists' works are projectedThe works of art, in movement, in music, play with the architecture of the site. Young and old alike will be enchanted by the movement of the works on the walls, floor and water.
